Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend-shift audits of pension plans to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Investigate participant complaints and resolve fiduciary breaches
- Analyze financial reports and plan documents for accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Provide technical assistance to plan sponsors regarding ERISA requirements
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and enforcement recommendations
- Collaborate with legal teams on complex pension litigation cases
- Monitor emerging trends in retirement plan administration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of pension plan administration or regulatory compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and DOL guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and financial software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Federal background investigation clearance eligibility
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, ASPA) preferred
