Responsibilities
- Process pension applications, retiree enrollments, and benefit adjustments with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service to retirees, beneficiaries, and state agencies
- Conduct eligibility verifications and compliance reviews for retirement plans
- Maintain accurate records in pension administration systems (NCPRS)
- Assist with annual benefit statements and educational outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with finance teams on funding calculations and reporting
- Support audit preparation and regulatory compliance activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in pension/retirement benefits administration
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
