Responsibilities
- Administer and process federal pension claims with meticulous attention to compliance with ERISA and OPM regulations

- Collaborate with HR departments and financial institutions to resolve pension discrepancies
- Prepare comprehensive reports on pension fund performance and demographic trends
- Train federal employees on retirement planning options and pension eligibility criteria
- Utilize specialized software (e.g., HRConnect, PRISM) for claims processing and data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or financial analysis
- Proficiency with federal regulations (ERISA, OPM, TSP) and pension calculation methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills with ability to create complex financial models and pivot tables
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex pension concepts to diverse audiences
- Federal security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, SHRM-CP) preferred
