Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize federal pension plans ensuring compliance with ERISA and OPM regulations
- Process retirement claims with 99.8% accuracy within strict federal timelines
- Conduct benefit audits and provide strategic financial counsel to federal employees
- Develop retirement education programs for pre-retirement planning seminars
- Collaborate with Treasury and OPM teams on pension policy enhancements
- Maintain secure digital records using FedRAMP-certified systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Public Administration (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in pension administration or federal benefits management
- Current Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses
- Expertise in CSRS/FERS systems and TSP calculations
- Advanced proficiency in federal HRIS systems (e.g., HR-XML)
- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ retirement portfolios
