Responsibilities
- Analyze federal pension plan documents for compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide expert guidance to federal agencies on retirement plan administration
- Conduct audits of pension plan operations and financial records
- Develop educational materials for federal employees regarding retirement benefits
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve pension disputes and appeals
- Monitor emerging trends in retirement legislation and policy changes
- Prepare comprehensive reports on pension plan health and compliance status
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of pension plan administration experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS Code 401(k), and federal retirement systems
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, ASPA, or QKA) strongly preferred
- Experience with federal HR systems and retirement databases
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
