Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS systems with precision
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and survivor claims within SLAs
- Conduct comprehensive audits of pension accounts to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide remote consultation to federal employees on retirement planning and benefit options
- Collaborate with HR departments and legal teams on pension policy updates
- Maintain accurate digital records using SSA's proprietary systems
- Prepare detailed reports on pension fund performance and compliance metrics
- Respond to weekend inquiries via secure channels with 24-hour SLA adherence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience with federal programs
- Advanced certification in ERISA compliance (e.g., CEBS, QKA)
- Proficiency in SSA systems and Microsoft Office Suite
