Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications for federal employees and retirees
- Manage retirement plan databases with 100% accuracy
- Respond to beneficiary inquiries during night shift hours
- Ensure compliance with federal pension regulations (ERISA, TSP)
- Collaborate with Ohio-based regional offices on cross-state cases
- Generate monthly pension reports for federal oversight
- Conduct benefit reconciliation audits
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years pension/benefits administration experience
- Proficiency with federal systems (eFAMS, HRIS)
- Ability to work 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM shift
- Federal security clearance eligibility
- Knowledge of OPM retirement regulations
