Responsibilities
- Administer multi-employer pension plans and ensure ERISA compliance
- Conduct benefit calculations and participant communications
- Manage investment portfolios and regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with auditors and legal teams on compliance matters
- Develop retirement education programs for public employees
- Analyze pension fund performance and recommend adjustments
- Oversee plan amendments and legislative updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years pension plan administration experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or CEBS designation preferred
- Expertise in ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and NYS pension laws
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
