Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify incoming pension applications and claims with precision during the weekend shift.
- Review and audit pension contribution records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Respond to complex inquiries from state employees and retirees regarding pension eligibility and status.
- Collaborate with the central Atlanta office to reconcile weekend transactions and data discrepancies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and personal data.
- Assist in the implementation of new pension plan updates and policy changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or government finance.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating schedule.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
