Responsibilities
- Process member enrollment forms and retirement benefit applications with 100% accuracy
- Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Verify employment history and pension contribution data
- Assist in calculating retirement benefits using specialized software
- Maintain confidential member records in compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with accounting teams on quarterly pension reconciliations
- Participate in continuous training on pension legislation updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Zero prior experience required – we train from the ground up
- Strong attention to detail with numerical aptitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
- Valid Ohio driver's license (for occasional off-site meetings)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required
