Responsibilities
- Administer and ensure compliance with federal pension regulations including ERISA and PBGC standards
- Conduct audits and investigations of pension plan documentation and financial records
- Provide technical guidance to plan sponsors and beneficiaries regarding retirement benefits
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for regulatory enforcement actions
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop policy improvements for retirement security

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pension plan administration or compliance
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, PBGC, and IRS pension regulations
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial documents
- Professional certification (e.g., ASPPA, QPA, or CFA) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in federal pension management software systems
