Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, contributions, and distribution processes
- Conduct eligibility verifications and benefit calculations for retirees
- Ensure strict compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Kansas statutes
- Provide expert guidance to members regarding retirement planning options
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and actuarial documentation
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy updates and regulatory changes
- Implement data integrity protocols for pension records and transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in pension administration or financial management
- Advanced knowledge of retirement plan regulations (ERISA, IRS 401(k)/457 plans)
- Proficiency in pension administration software and MS Office Suite
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
