Responsibilities

- Conduct quarterly audits of pension accounts and financial records
- Advise retirees on distribution options and tax implications
- Collaborate with weekend team to resolve complex pension inquiries
- Generate monthly compliance reports for state oversight agencies
- Implement new pension policies and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension fund or retirement planning experience
- Series 65 or 66 securities license required
- Proficiency with pension management software (e.g., Alight, Empower)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and NC pension statutes
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 7am-3pm)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
