Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret federal pension regulations (ERISA, TCRS) for multi-state compliance
- Conduct weekend audits of pension plan documents and financial statements
- Develop educational materials for plan sponsors and participants
- Collaborate with state agencies on pension coordination initiatives
- Respond to weekend participant inquiries via secure portals
- Analyze pension fund performance and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare weekend-shift compliance reports for congressional review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years pension plan administration or regulatory compliance experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., CEBS, CBP) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k), and TCRS regulations
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., UltiPro, Benefitfocus)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun 3PM-11PM)
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility
