Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls with rapid accuracy and calm demeanor
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems for resource allocation
- Coordinate with police, fire, and medical units during critical incidents
- Document call details and maintain precise digital records
- Execute emergency protocols for natural disasters and active threats
- Provide crisis intervention and pre-arrival medical instructions
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners during major operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- U.S. citizenship and Arizona residency
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Strong conflict resolution and emotional control skills
- Basic computer proficiency and technical aptitude
