Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls and non-emergency requests with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems during critical incidents
- Maintain precise radio communication protocols with field personnel
- Enter and update case information in law enforcement databases
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergency situations
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support to callers
- Document all communications and incident details per department standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- US citizenship and valid NC driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Typing minimum 40 WPM with 90% accuracy
