Responsibilities
- Process 911/emergency calls and prioritize incidents using CAD systems
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units with precise location and threat details
- Maintain real-time communication with field personnel during critical incidents
- Update case records and maintain accurate digital documentation
- Operate radio consoles and emergency alert systems under pressure
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during large-scale emergencies
- Train on remote dispatch protocols and virtual incident management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Experience in customer service, call centers, or crisis management
- Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems
- Clear diction and multilingual skills (Spanish desirable)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts nights/weekends/holidays
- U.S. citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
