Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses
- Operate radio systems for police, fire, and EMS coordination
- Maintain accurate incident documentation in CAD systems
- Provide clear instructions to callers during critical situations
- Collaborate with multiple agencies during emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Proficient with basic computer systems and software
- Valid driver's license and clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
