Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and empathy
- Operate CAD/RMS systems for real-time incident tracking
- Coordinate with field units, fire, and EMS during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all communications
- Provide life-saving instructions via emergency medical protocols
- Manage radio communications during multi-agency operations
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to pass background investigation and polygraph examination
- Clear speaking voice with excellent diction
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS, MS Office Suite)
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
