Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls with precision and empathy using CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS resources during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incident reports
- Provide critical instructions to callers during life-threatening situations
- Operate radio equipment and specialized communication software
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies during emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background check and psychological evaluation
- Exceptional multitasking and de-escalation skills
- Experience in customer service or high-pressure environments
