Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and compassion
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and radio systems
- Coordinate resources for police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and logs
- Provide critical information to field units and other agencies
- Participate in continuous scenario-based training simulations
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA/GDPR protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (tested during application)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- U.S. citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
- Experience with customer service or crisis communication preferred
- Must complete 120-hour academy training within 6 months
