Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems
- Operate radio equipment to coordinate police/fire/EMS responses
- Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation
- Provide clear, concise information to first responders
- Utilize multi-line phone systems during high-pressure situations
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
- Participate in continuous training programs for certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Strong typing skills (40+ WPM preferred)
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- No felony convictions or misdemeanor domestic violence charges
