Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate CAD systems and radio communications equipment
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units efficiently
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident reports
- Provide critical information to field personnel
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Complete mandatory training modules and certification exams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in typing (minimum 40 WPM)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Calm demeanor under high-pressure situations
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Must be a US citizen and Alaska resident
