Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal premises during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergency incidents with coordinated protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and access logs for federal compliance
- Operate advanced security equipment including biometric scanners and CCTV systems
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Conduct routine vulnerability assessments of restricted areas
- Enforce federal security regulations with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
- Active U.S. government security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, military, or federal security
- Valid Virginia Class C driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours in high-stress environments
- Proficiency with security software and surveillance technology
- Successful completion of federal background investigation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
