Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with exceptional speed and accuracy
- Operate CAD systems and radio equipment to coordinate police/fire/EMS responses
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to field units during active emergencies
- Remain calm and professional under high-pressure crisis situations
- Utilize multi-channel communication systems effectively
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (will be tested)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- U.S. citizenship and valid Texas driver's license
- Strong problem-solving skills under duress
- Excellent verbal communication and listening abilities
