Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and composure
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and CAD software
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during critical incidents
- Coordinate resources with officers, EMS, and fire departments
- Maintain accurate records and incident documentation
- Complete field training program under direct supervision
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM verified
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear articulation and exceptional listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS)
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
