Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police units, fire, and medical personnel to incidents
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and CAD software
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident reports
- Provide critical information to first responders during crises
- Remain calm under extreme pressure during emergency situations
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
- Pass background check, drug screen, and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed minimum 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to speak clearly and understand diverse accents
- Basic computer literacy and multitasking abilities
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- No felony convictions
