Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and empathy
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and incidents
- Utilize CAD systems to track units and manage resources
- Provide critical information to field units and other agencies
- Remain calm and professional during high-stress emergency situations
- Complete all training modules and certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship and valid NJ driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to type 35+ WPM with accuracy
- Strong decision-making abilities under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be 18 years or older
