Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate field units
- Enter and retrieve information from law enforcement databases
- Remain calm and decisive during high-pressure situations
- Provide critical instructions to callers during emergencies
- Document all call activities and incidents with precise detail
- Collaborate with officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to type 35+ WPM with accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Must complete paid academy training program
- U.S. citizenship and Tennessee residency required
