Responsibilities
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and emergency medical services
- Process 911 calls with accuracy and prioritize critical incidents
- Utilize CAD software for real-time incident tracking and resource deployment
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and actions taken
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Collaborate with field units and other agencies during major incidents
- Complete daily reports and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Strong multitasking skills under pressure
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows operating systems
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
- Valid Ohio driver's license required
