Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls using CAD/RMS systems with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed incident logs and documentation
- Provide clear, concise instructions to field units during emergencies
- Operate radio systems and specialized communication equipment
- Adhere to NIMS and PPD protocols for all dispatch procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts (24/7 coverage)
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
