Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and speed
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Provide clear instructions to callers during critical incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during complex situations
- Operate radio equipment and communication systems efficiently
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Proficiency in computer applications and multitasking
