Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls via phone, radio, and digital systems with precision and urgency
- Dispatch police units and emergency services using CAD/RMS software
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via EMD protocols
- Monitor surveillance systems and alert field units to potential threats
- Operate radio equipment and maintain secure communications channels
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 60 WPM typing proficiency with 95% accuracy
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience in customer service, call centers, or emergency services
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-aided dispatch systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong situational judgment and de-escalation skills
