Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch police units and coordinate resources during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all communications
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Operate radio equipment and multi-line telephone systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services
- Adhere to departmental policies and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in computer applications and typing (40+ WPM)
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Florida driver's license with clean record
