Responsibilities
- Process incoming emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain precise radio communication protocols during critical incidents
- Enter and update real-time information in law enforcement databases
- Provide crisis intervention and multi-language support as needed
- Operate emergency notification systems for public safety alerts
- Collaborate with cross-agency partners during multi-jurisdictional incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass criminal background and psychological screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Strong multitasking and decision-making under pressure
- Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear communication skills in English (additional languages valued)
