Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items
- Operate X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections
- Maintain security checkpoints in compliance with TSA protocols
- Respond to security alerts and suspicious activity
- Document screening incidents and maintain accurate records
- Provide customer service to travelers during screening processes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or national status
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
