Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate police/fire/EMS units
- Operate CAD/RMS systems with provided specialized equipment
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide clear communication during high-stress situations
- Utilize provided mapping and location-tracking tools
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (testing provided)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear speaking voice and strong communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and Florida residency
- No felony convictions
