Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with accuracy and compassion
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide life-saving instructions during medical emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate radio equipment and emergency communication systems
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to type 40+ WPM (verified assessment required)
- Clear criminal background and drug screen
- Strong multitasking and stress management skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office)
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities
- Ability to pass written and scenario-based aptitude tests
- Must be 18+ years old and a US citizen
