Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls with urgency and accuracy
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain detailed incident documentation
- Operate radio systems and computer-aided dispatch (CAD)
- Provide critical information to first responders
- Remain calm under high-pressure emergency situations
- Complete state-mandated dispatcher certification training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Clear communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- No felony convictions
- Must be 18+ years old
- Valid Arizona driver's license
