Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with empathy and precision
- Coordinate police, fire, and medical responses via radio systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Operate multiple communication channels simultaneously
- Adhere to NIMS and POST protocols during all interactions
- Complete ongoing training to maintain certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 60 WPM typing certification
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Experience in customer service or crisis management preferred
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual a plus)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- U.S. citizenship and valid Washington driver's license
