Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Operate radio communication systems to dispatch police units
- Enter and maintain accurate data in CAD and RMS systems
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Complete comprehensive training modules on department protocols
- Perform administrative duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Clear speaking voice with excellent diction
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
