Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with calm professionalism
- Dispatch police/fire/EMS units using CAD systems
- Maintain detailed incident logs and records
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate radio equipment and emergency notification systems
- Provide crisis intervention to callers in distress
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to remain composed under extreme pressure
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized systems
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and psychological evaluation
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid Arizona driver's license
