Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems with precise location and incident details
- Maintain constant radio communication with field units during active incidents
- Enter/update case information in law enforcement databases
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via emergency medical protocols
- Document all communications with detailed call logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Valid Texas driver's license at time of hire
- Typing minimum of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- Clear speaking voice with strong communication skills
- No felony convictions or domestic violence convictions
