Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and professionalism
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Enter and maintain detailed incident data in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide clear instructions to callers during critical situations
- Collaborate with officers and other agencies during ongoing incidents
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Participate in continuous training to enhance operational skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with high accuracy
- Strong multitasking abilities under pressure
- Clear communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
