Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD systems and radio protocols
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via EMD-certified protocols
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate NCIC/LEADS systems for criminal background checks
- Manage sensitive information with strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 18 years of age (21 for firearm certification)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Pass comprehensive background check and polygraph
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- EMD or APCO certification within first 6 months
- US citizenship or legal residency status
