Responsibilities
- Answer emergency/non-emergency calls and prioritize dispatch requests
- Operate radio systems, CAD software, and 911 equipment
- Provide critical information to officers and other emergency services
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Remain calm under high-pressure situations during crises
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 45 WPM typing certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy (Windows, MS Office)
- Fluent English (written/spoken) with clear communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- No prior criminal convictions
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
