Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with accuracy and empathy
- Operate radio systems to coordinate field units during emergencies
- Input and maintain detailed incident reports in CAD/RMS systems
- Multi-task between phone, radio, and digital communication channels
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Ability to type 35+ WPM (tested during application)
- Strong multi-tasking and stress management skills
- Clear communication and active listening abilities
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn new systems
- Nebraska residency required upon hire
- Must complete 120-hour academy training program
