Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls with speed and precision during high-pressure scenarios
- Coordinate emergency responses across police, fire, and medical units
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio communication equipment
- Maintain detailed incident documentation and logs
- Provide crisis intervention and calming communication to distressed callers
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams during critical incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- U.S. citizenship and NM residency required
- Pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Typing speed ≥40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Strong problem-solving and de-escalation skills
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Valid NM driver's license
