Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and calming assistance to callers
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Monitor radio communications and relay critical information
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems efficiently
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency with data entry accuracy
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred
