Responsibilities
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to coordinate emergency responses
- Process 911 calls and dispatch appropriate law enforcement/fire/EMS units
- Maintain accurate digital logs and incident reports using CAD systems
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergency situations
- Monitor surveillance feeds and alarm systems for public safety threats
- Assist in training new dispatchers after completing probationary period
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized software
- Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen
